Professional and friendly staff. I primarily had contact with Caleb who was very responsive, informative, and attentive to our needs. The crew also would take time to answer questions we might have and make suggestion on pool needs and preventative measures. The office was also friendly and quick to respond if needed. We recently decided to fly solo as we have two sons who need to earn their keep and right to use the pool. I contacted Caleb with a question about an issue I encountered. After my pump sprang a leak, I needed it replaced pretty fast. After being told by multiple pool companies that "if we didn't install it, we won't work on it," I'm glad I finally found Pro Pool Solutions. Caleb responded right away and was happy to help. We just purchased a home that has a pool, and we were told by an inspector everything was in working condition. After noticing the pool sweep not moving for days and the previous pool service company having just come out and said all was good with the pool, I decided I needed a second opinion. I called Scott at Professional Pool Solutions and we set an appointment for an evaluation.
Scott and John came out to look at our setup. After a quick run through, it was determined the pump was an insufficient replacement from the original equipment. As a result the pool sweep had no power to push it. Additionally, the pool chemistry was out of normal ranges in almost every category.
Scott provided us with quotes and options on how we could go about getting our pool into a condition that we be comfortable using it. The quotes were very competitive with industry standards. We decided to get a new pump and a new plugin pool sweep. The pump took a bit of time to get in, due to shortages from COVID and the "big Texas freeze".
The pool sweep came to us three days later, Caleb came and set it up and showed me how to use it. John came out just a week later to install our new pump. John quickly wired and plumbed the pump, and tested it before he left. In the testing John noted that our pressure in the filter was extremely high and let me know that this was something that needed to be addressed. John offered to do a cleaning right then. Once opening the filter it was obvious that the filter had not been cleaned in a very long time as there was excessive build up on all of the grids making them useless in filtration. During the cleaning of the grids there were five that were severely damaged or completely broken.
John was quick to locate new grids for us within an hour or so and had them at our house shortly after. Everything was put back together, tested and readied for swimming. John went so far as to message me the next day to make sure that everything was working and met our expectations.
After all of the hard work by Scott, John and Caleb our pool has crystal clear water that is safe for our family to enjoy. Above and beyond is an understatement for what these guys did for us to enjoy the last days of Texas summer.
